I have a humble dream of turning my mother’s stories into a book with my illustrations. While this time it’s not a book but a booklet, I’m truly happy that my mother and I were able to create something together.

She lives in Yokohama City. Her father was a man of many hobbies, including writing novels, painting in oils, and playing the violin. The pen name he used, Mansaku Oguri, still brings back fond memories for her. There was even a time when she wrote stories on a blog under that name. About ten years ago, she joined a haiku society and has been submitting haikus and writings every month since then. She has compiled 12 of these pieces into three booklets.
